Testimonials From Writers

As a brand or PR company, you may not be aware of the challenges writers and content creators face with the traditional delivery of press packs, images, and files. We invite you to take a moment to understand our perspective, and to see why Asset Sharer offers a more efficient, streamlined solution that aligns with our workflow. By making it easier for us to access and use your materials, you significantly increase your chances of gaining valuable coverage.

Probably the most frustrating thing about image research is just the time it takes; sending emails, following them up, etc. Asset Sharer is a really useful resource for journalists. It allows me to choose the images I need, in the format I need and exactly when I need them, without wasting time waiting for replies to emails. Having a site that’s so easy to use really speeds up the process of picture research and fact-checking, making it easier to hit my deadlines.

We all love professional photos of ourselves from events, but often you are sent a massive folder of the whole day and have to download and then weed through it for that one snap of yourself. It would be great to make the process speedier and easier to get the relevant shots. Everyone uses a different platform which can be frustrating.

Wine Consultant and Columnist

Having a library of easily accessible photos is a godsend. Every article, event, publicity that needs a photo needs something différent and the time taken explaining is time wasted. Having this range readily available is extremly useful.

This is a great resource for any drinks writer on a deadline, as it’s often really frustrating to reach out to PR companies at the last minute.

The problems with file sharing is a constant frustration for journalists. Either we have a WeTransfer link that gets lost among the many emails in our inbox and expires too quickly, or we find our inboxes getting clogged up with photos being sent as attachments. For freelancers in particular who don’t have unlimited email storage, being sent lots of high res photos as email attachments can mean long days of going through and deleting those emails later down the line to free up storage space. It would be amazing to have a solution that makes all these problems go away.

As a content creator, I’ve spent far too long battling expired WeTransfer links, waiting on ‘request access’ approvals, and digging through endless Google Drive or Dropbox folders — all just to find a handful of usable images. Assetsharer.com will make that process effortless: I will be able to instantly preview images with their sizes and orientation, pick only what I need, and find documents and visuals together in one tidy, accessible space. No logins, no messy folders,  just the assets I need, exactly when I need them.

As a social media whisky educator who receives multiple press releases, stock photos and also frequently needs to send back my own images and metrics back to brands, having a platform to manage everything in one place is a game-changer, especially when platforms like WeTransfer have such a limited window for clients to download files, whilst other platforms provide very limited space, features and tools for creators.

I’ve lost count of the times I have gone back to an email to find links to photos, only to discover the short download window has expired. And this usually happens just as I want the pictures to accompany the copy I’m filling. Assetsharer.com promises to eliminate this problem and much more. Dropbox I just find too fiddly to use when I’m in a hurry as deadlines approach.

I’m constantly sent huge WeTransfer or Google Drive folders, forced to download 100 images just to find a few, with no easy way to see sizes or orientation — it makes a simple task unnecessarily frustrating. I don’t need all the files — just the five that actually work. It’s exhausting juggling images on one platform and documents on another.
